MNCCI HOSTS MONGOLIA–GERMANY EXPERIENCE SHARING MEETING

The Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) hosted the “Mongolia–Germany Experience Sharing Meeting” with a visiting German municipal and business delegation at MNCCI headquarters in Ulaanbaatar.

The meeting was organized under the German Municipal Partnerships Program to strengthen economic cooperation, promote business engagement, and facilitate the exchange of experiences between Mongolia and Germany. The German delegation included representatives of municipalities, chambers of commerce, research institutions, entrepreneurs, and economic development organizations from Baruth/Mark, Schönefeld, and Kassel.

Opening remarks were delivered by Mr. M. Sarandavaa, Advisor to the President of MNCCI, and Mr. Faraz Dahar, Project Manager at Engagement Global. In their remarks, both sides emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation between local governments, business communities, and development partners to support sustainable economic growth and regional development.

During the meeting, Ms. B. Saruul, Secretary General of MNCCI, delivered a presentation on Mongolia’s current business environment, highlighting recent economic developments, investment opportunities, and the role of the private sector in national growth. Participants also exchanged views on public-private partnership mechanisms and explored opportunities for future cooperation in trade, investment, innovation, sustainable urban development, and SME support.

The dialogue provided a valuable platform for Mongolian and German stakeholders to share best practices in local economic development, municipal governance, entrepreneurship, and international partnerships. Particular attention was given to strengthening connections between municipalities and economic actors as a means of fostering inclusive and sustainable development.

MNCCI reaffirmed its commitment to supporting international business cooperation and facilitating partnerships that contribute to Mongolia’s economic competitiveness and integration into global markets.
The meeting concluded with an open discussion session, during which participants exchanged ideas on future collaborative initiatives and opportunities to further enhance Mongolia–Germany economic relations.
