MONGOLIA–POLAND TRADITIONAL MEDICINE EVENTS SUCCESSFULLY HELD IN WARSAW

As part of the official visit of the Mongolia–Poland Parliamentary Group of the State Great Khural of Mongolia to the Republic of Poland, a series of events in the field of traditional medicine has been successfully organized in Warsaw.

On April 14, 2026, a training and lecture session on traditional medicine was held at the Embassy of Mongolia in Warsaw. During the event, Professor D. Tsend-Ayush, General Specialist of the Professional Council for Traditional Medicine under the Ministry of Health of Mongolia, and Professor G. Mashbat, President of the Mongolian Society of Integrative Medicine, delivered presentations on key topics including the “Mongol Khanuur-2026” national program, the current state and future trends of research and development in Mongolian traditional medicine, and approaches to treating common diseases in Europe using traditional medicine practices.

On April 15, 2026, the “Mongolia–Poland Traditional Medicine Sector Meeting” was successfully held in Warsaw. The event brought together members of the parliamentary groups of both countries, representatives of government institutions, healthcare professionals, and business delegates.

The meeting was officially opened by H.E. N.Oyundari, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Poland, Mr. J.Zoljargal, Member of Parliament and Head of the Mongolia–Poland Parliamentary Group, along with representatives from relevant Polish institutions. Discussions focused on policy development, sectoral growth, and opportunities for international cooperation in traditional medicine. The program also included a ceremonial award presentation and presentations from academic and industry representatives.

Additionally, business delegates discussed opportunities to develop Mongolian traditional medicine and expand its pharmaceutical products into international markets. Lastly, these engagements represent an important step toward enhancing collaboration between Mongolia and Poland in the healthcare sector, particularly in advancing traditional medicine through research, innovation, and international partnership.
