MNCCI Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Italian Trade Agency and SIMEST

During the state visit to Italy of the President of Mongolia, H.E. Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, from December 1–4, 2025, MNCCI President B.Lkhagvajav signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and Italy’s SIMEST company. It will promote mutually beneficial business growth and create new market opportunities for trade and cooperation between the two countries.

The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) serves as the key government organization that operates under the guidance and strategy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The agency has supported Italian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in expanding internationally, attracting investment, and globally promoting “Made in Italy” products.

Additionally, since 1990, SIMEST has successfully supported Italian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to enter new international markets. The main services include market research and assessment, export credit assistance, equity investment, venture capital support, and others.
Therefore, these two Memorandum of Understanding will play a significant role in supporting Mongolian enterprises to expand their presence in the European Union and global markets. Together, they open new pathways for Mongolian businesses to build strategic international partnerships, strengthen their competitiveness, and connect with a broader network of trusted worldwide partners.
