PRESIDENT OF THE MNCCI B. LKHAGVAJAV VISITS THE RUSSIAN EXPORT CENTER (REC) AND DISCUSSES PROSPECTS FOR COOPERATION

A large business delegation led by B. Lkhagvajav, President of the MNCCI, is accompanying the Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia, Nyam-Osoryn Uchral, on his official visit to the Russian Federation.
The delegation includes around 60 representatives from more than 30 Mongolian national manufacturing and importing companies. As part of the visit, the business representatives visited the Russian Export Center (REC) to study Russia’s export support system and its comprehensive services designed to help companies enter international markets. The visit also aimed to explore opportunities to expand bilateral trade.
At the outset of the meeting, REC officials delivered a detailed presentation on the center’s operational model and the state-supported professional services provided to Russian enterprises. The REC not only offers advisory services to exporters but also delivers practical financial instruments in one place, including export financing, insurance, and bank guarantees.

In addition, the Center conducts in-depth international market research, assists companies in aligning their products with foreign standards and technical regulations, and helps reduce the costs of participating in international trade fairs and exhibitions—significantly lowering the barriers for businesses seeking to expand abroad.
Particular attention was given to the implementation of the national “Made in Russia” brand, which promotes Russian goods and services under a unified international image. The parties exchanged views on the certification and promotional mechanisms associated with the brand, which serves as a mark of quality and reliability in global markets.

Speaking at the meeting, MNCCI President B. Lkhagvajav emphasized that for Mongolia, strengthening non-mining exports and promoting value-added products internationally requires precisely this type of structured professional support and financial insurance system. He expressed Mongolia’s interest in adapting the REC’s experience domestically and affirmed MNCCI’s readiness to serve as a bridge connecting businesses from the two countries.

This visit is significant in that it opens new opportunities for Mongolian companies to supply goods to the Russian market and to implement joint projects by leveraging Russia’s export financing instruments.
