MNCCI AND EXPOCENTRE JSC TO COLLABORATE ON PROMOTING MONGOLIA’S EXPORTS (FEBRUARY 10, 2026)

During the major international food and beverages exhibition “Prodexpo-2026” currently taking place in Moscow, Russia, a meeting was held between B. Lkhagvajav, President of the MNCCI, and Maxim Fateev, Director General of Expocentre JSC. The two sides exchanged views on elevating trade and economic cooperation between Mongolia and the Russian Federation to a new level.

The discussions focused on turning the existing cooperation agreement between the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the MNCCI into concrete action. In this context, the parties outlined practical steps to increase the participation of Mongolian enterprises in the specialized international exhibitions organized by Expocentre.
President B. Lkhagvajav emphasized that trade fairs and exhibitions are among the most effective platforms for promoting Mongolian products in the Russian market. He expressed a strong interest in leveraging this marketing channel to enhance the visibility and competitiveness of Mongolian goods abroad. He also expressed appreciation for the opportunity to explore the “Prodexpo-2026” exhibition and to establish direct business contacts with Russian and international importers and partners.

The meeting marked an important step toward strengthening the competitiveness of Mongolia’s national producers and opening new opportunities for successfully expanding Mongolian exports into international markets.
