MNCCI STRENGTHENS COOPERATION WITH THE INDONESIAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (KADIN)

The Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) welcomed a delegation from the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) on 30 June 2026 to discuss opportunities for expanding bilateral economic cooperation and to initial a renewed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two organizations.

The meeting was attended by Mr. B. Lkhagvajav, President of MNCCI; Ms. B. Saruul, Secretary General of MNCCI; H.E. Mr. D. Enkhtaivan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Indonesia; and Mr. Harry Warganegara, Chairman of KADIN's Bilateral Committee, together with representatives from both organizations.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on strengthening trade and investment relations and explored new areas of cooperation. The Indonesian delegation expressed strong interest in importing halal-certified Mongolian beef to meet Indonesia's growing domestic demand. In turn, MNCCI President Mr. B. Lkhagvajav highlighted the importance of learning from Indonesia's expertise in coal mining management and mineral resource development, while also emphasizing the potential for cooperation between businesses in the pharmaceutical manufacturing and medical supply sectors.

The discussions also focused on promoting women's entrepreneurship. Secretary General Ms. B. Saruul noted that both chambers have dedicated organizations supporting women entrepreneurs and proposed strengthening cooperation between these bodies through joint initiatives and a future memorandum of cooperation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the two chambers initialed a Memorandum of Understanding at the presidential level, reaffirming their shared commitment to enhancing institutional cooperation and creating greater opportunities for businesses in Mongolia and Indonesia.
