“Supporting and Collaborating with the Prime Minister’s Policy”
Prime Minister of Mongolia G. Zandanshatar received B. Lkhagvajav, the Acting President of MNCCI. During the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed the Government’s commitment to supporting the private sector, investors, and wealth creators, and to protecting their interests. He also expressed his hope that the MNCCI would align with this policy and engage in open and constructive cooperation. The Prime Minister noted that the government is working to submit the draft Law Package on supporting Wealth creators and the Tax Reform Package to the Parliament.

The Prime Minister also noted that the “Mongolian Economic Forum” will be held soon. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that the government and the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry work together to establish ongoing dialogue with entrepreneurs, businesses, and investors—rather than limiting engagement to a single annual event such as the forum. He stressed the need to continuously listen to their proposals, hold regular discussions, and take concrete actions in response.
. Highlighting that human development is the government’s top megaproject, the Prime Minister called on enterprises to support workforce growth and leadership development.
A government initiative has already begun to downsize the civil service by 9% (excluding teachers and healthcare workers), and MNCCI was requested to conduct a labor market study. Transferring trained civil servants to the private sector could help address the labor shortage.
He further emphasized the importance of nationwide reskilling as AI and digital technology reshape the job market. As new jobs emerge driven by artificial intelligence and digital technologies, the Prime Minister expressed the Government’s intention to support and actively promote a nationwide “reskilling wave” to prepare the population for the future of work. Mr. B. Lkhagvajav, President and Chairman of the Board of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI), extended his congratulations and best wishes to Prime Minister G. Zandanshatar on behalf of the MNCCI Board of Directors, the Executive Council, and in his personal capacity on the occasion of his appointment as the 34th Prime Minister of Mongolia.
He also expressed the Chamber’s full support for the Prime Minister’s policy to reduce state intervention in the economy and to foster a private sector–driven, stable, inclusive, and resilient economy that enhances national preparedness and sustainability. The MNCCI reaffirmed its readiness to cooperate actively and achieve tangible results in this regard.
