Invitation to Select an Enterprise or Organization to Organize the COP17 Green Zone Activities through Private Sector Participation, Investment, and Management

The organizers hereby invite enterprises and organizations to participate in the selection process for the professional organization of the Green Zone activities within the framework of the 17th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (COP17). The selected entity will implement the required temporary structures, landscaping and fit-out, exhibitions, events, services, and related management through private sector participation, investment, sponsorship, and partnership arrangements.
Domestic and foreign enterprises and organizations operating in the fields of Green Zone development, international events, exhibitions, event management, temporary structures, pavilions, landscaping and fit-out, services, sponsorship attraction, and investment organization may participate in this selection process.
One. Scope of Work
The selection process will select an entity to implement the following works:
1. The general organization and operational management of the COP17 Green Zone;
2. Organization of temporary structures, pavilions, tents, furniture, and technical equipment;
3. Organization of exhibitions, events, receptions, and food services;
4. Management of attracting sponsors, partner organizations, and private sector participation;
5. Landscaping and site fit-out, visitor flow, signs and markings, and information boards;
6. Temporary infrastructure for electricity, water, sanitation, and safety arrangements;
7. Waste management, cleaning, green standards, and environmentally friendly solutions;
8. Daily operations, monitoring, and reporting during the event.
Two. General Requirements for Participants
Participants shall meet the following requirements:
1. Be a domestic or foreign legal entity;
2. Have experience in implementing similar international or large-scale events, exhibitions, event management, temporary structures, and landscaping/fit-out works;
3. Have the capacity and capability to attract private sector investment, sponsorship, and partnerships;
4. Have adequate human resources, financial capacity, equipment, and organizational capability;
5. Be able to propose environmentally friendly and green solutions;
6. If participating in the form of a partnership or consortium, submit clear information on the partner organization(s).
Three. Documents to be Submitted
Participants shall submit the following documents:
1. An official letter expressing interest in participation;
2. Company/organization profile;
3. A copy of the state registration certificate or equivalent document;
4. Information on experience in implementing similar works;
5. A general concept and proposal for organizing the COP17 Green Zone;
6. Methodology and plan for implementing the work;
7. Proposal for financing, investment, and sponsor attraction;
8. Information on human resources and the management team;
9. Information on available equipment, temporary structures, and services;
10. Preliminary financial model and revenue-expenditure estimate;
11. If participating through a partnership, partnership information and profiles of partner organizations;
12. Other supplementary materials.
Four. Deadline for Submission of Materials
The selection invitation will be published on the organization’s website from 15:00 on 13 May 2026 until 17:00 on 22 May 2026, and participant materials will be received during this period.

Participants shall submit their materials to the following email address:

Materials shall be submitted in PDF format as a single consolidated file. The subject line of the email shall be written as follows: COP17 Green Zone Selection.
Additionally, information may be collected through an electronic registration form to verify participant registration and submitted materials.

The terms of reference, site information, general planning documents, and other relevant materials related to the selection process may be obtained through the organization’s website.
