PRESIDENT OF MNCCI B. LKHAGVAJAV MEETS WITH THE CHARGÉ D’AFFAIRES OF THE EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC OF BULGARIA TO MONGOLIA

President of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI), Mr. B. Lkhagvajav, received Ms. Aleksandrina Gigova, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria to Mongolia.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on opportunities to expand the long-standing friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolia and the Republic of Bulgaria.
The sides highlighted that Mongolia and Bulgaria marked the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2025, and emphasized the need to further strengthen cooperation in various fields, including education, culture, economy, and trade. Bulgaria is one of the first European countries to have established diplomatic relations with Mongolia.
Within the framework of economic and trade cooperation, the parties noted that the current bilateral trade turnover remains at a relatively low level and discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in sectors such as food and agriculture, dairy products, pharmaceuticals and medical products, leather and light industry, tourism, and cosmetic products.
The parties also noted that the opening of the VFS Global Visa Application Center in Ulaanbaatar has facilitated the process for Mongolian citizens applying for Bulgarian visas, contributing to improved conditions for mutual travel and tourism development.

Both sides expressed their willingness to further promote exchanges in business, culture, and education, and agreed to work together to elevate bilateral cooperation to a new level.
