Head of the External Relations, Trade and Investment Division of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) B.Munkh-Orgil delivered a report at a Mongolia-Slovakia business forum held on November 29 in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
Mr. B.Munkh-Orgil talked about the present cooperation and activities of the MNCCI, at the forum which was organized in frameworks of a working visit of Peter Pellegrini, Slovakian Deputy Prime Minister, to Mongolia.
Opening speeches were delivered by D.Tsogtbaatar, Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Peter Pellegrini, Slovakian Deputy Prime Minister. The latter believes that the business meeting will give an opportunity to design goals of the bilateral cooperation, and also will open potentials for the Mongolia-Slovakia economies.
The parties exchanged views on supporting the collaboration between the countries’ private sector and tackling the finance for joint projects and programs.
B.Bayarsaikhan, Head of the National Development Agency, gave a report on a present state of investments in Mongolia, cooperation proposals and projects, while the Slovakian side reported about its country’s technical and technological development and investment opportunities.
Within the forum, an economic cooperation agreement between the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Slovakian Ministry of Economy was signed by D.Tsogtbaatar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, and Peter Ziga, Slovakian Minister of Economy.
The forum finished after a business-to-business meeting which brought together representatives of over almost 70 Mongolian and Slovakian entities and companies.
