Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry /MNCC/ participated in the 31st Confederation of the Asia - Pacific CCI (CACCI) Conference and 10th World Chambers Federation which was jointly organized by the Sydney Business Chamber, a division of NSW Business Chamber and ICC WCF. The 10th World Chambers Congress /WCC/ was the premier event bringing together chambers from all around the world, business and government delegations. The 31st CACCI Conference and 10th WCC took place successfully from 18-21 September, 2017 in Sydney, Australia bringing together 1200 delegates of Chambers and Business associations from 100 countries. Brazil won the bid to host the next World Chambers Congress and the congress will be held in Rio De Janeiro in 2019.
Mr.Lkhagvajav Baatarjav, president of MNCCI and chairman of the board, Mrs.Oyunchimeg Magvan, CEO of MNCCI, Member of WCF General Council, Vice president of CACCI met with Mr.Jemal Inaishvilli, president of CACCI within the framework of the 31st CACCI Conference to discuss further cooperation, activities between Mongolia and member countries of CACCI, and preparation of next meeting to be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia in upcoming September, 2018.
In the framework of the visit, the delegation of MNCCI also participated in the 88th CACCI Council meeting. Mrs.Oyunchimeg Magvan was invited as a judge for the 2017 World Chambers Competition-Best education and Training project and participated in the 31st CACCI conference as a speaker at the roundtable discussion on SME Development council under CACCI. Mrs.Oyunchimeg Magvan introduced the current situation of Mongolian SME business entrepreneurs, possible cooperation with SMEs in Mongolia and chambers role in boosting the SME development during her speech and welcomed all the delegations to Mongolia next year for the meeting and the theme of the meeting will be the trade and investment opportunities in Mongolia.
