Quotas for the export of meat and powdered milk to be issued by the MNCCI

Mendsaikhan the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, stated that the authority to set quotas for exports of meat and powdered milk will be transferred to the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia (MNCCI), a step which the Ministry believes will be crucial for the export and import of meat in a transparent way.
As part of the Cabinet's 2020 to 2024 action plan, members of Parliament addressed growth of small and medium-sized enterprises ( SMEs) and ways of resolving problems relevant to SMEs over the next four years.
SME delegates emphasized that the Cabinet's action plan needs to reflect a gradual decrease in loan interest rates, lower tax rates and cut bureaucracy. The legislators and business leaders agreed that frequent meetings and discussions with leaders of small and medium-sized businesses are essential for improving ties between the state and private sector.
