President of the MNCCI O.Amartuvshin met with State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs D.Davaasuren at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Secretary of State briefed on the Government's policies and decisions on the implementation of the UN Principles on Business and Human Rights and the development of a national program, and provided information on specific actions taken so far.
He also addressed the importance of promoting a business culture that respects human rights, ensuring sustainable business growth and strengthening democracy. He called on the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) to take the lead in implementing business and human rights governance principles and developing national programs, and to ensure the active participation of businesses and enterprises.
The President of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, O.Amartuvshin, emphasized that the chamber is cooperating with its partners in the field of business ethics, human rights and anti-corruption, and also expressed his full support for the implementation of the main principles of business and human rights, and the development of a national program processing through the member organizations and the local branches.
At the end of the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the process of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the major events planned for this year.
