Speaker of Mongolian Parliament expressed his gratitude to the President of MNCCI during the opening of 2020 spring session
Despite the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, the opening meeting was physically attended by President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga and Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh on Monday, April 6, with heads of government organizations, foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations participated virtually in the opening.
In his remarks, opening the parliamentary spring session, Speaker of the Parliament G.Zandanshatar thanked the President O. Amartuvshin of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who worked closely with the State Great Hural and made a valuable recommendations and conclusions on how to protect wealth creators and SMEs from potential risks during this economic downturn, and to support and develop the economy. He also expressed his gratitude to thousands of taxpayers from private sectors for their social responsibility.
After mentioning about the government’s steps to alleviate the economic impacts of the novel coronavirus pandemic, such as tax breaks, additional benefit allowance to children, low-interest loans to cashmere companies, loan repayment deferrals, gradual fuel price drop, Speaker Zandanshatar assured that there is enough supply of food products, and enhanced production and supply of protective masks and sanitizing and disinfectant products during current uncertain times.
