Mongolia-Poland business forum is expected in July
On June 3, O.Amartuvshin, Chairman of the MNCCI, met Krzysztof Bojko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Mongolia.
At the meeting, the Ambassador pointed out the Polish Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Maciej Lang plans to pay an official visit to Mongolia on July 9-13 and then asked the MNCCI Chairman to back a proposal to hold a Mongolia-Poland business forum within the visit. The business forum is expected to take place on July 9 with participation of Polish companies of agriculture, foods and pharmacy.
In turn, Mr. Amartuvshin said the MNCCI will focus great attention to organizing the joint business forum and having Mongolian enterprises participate in the planned forum in so as to augment the trade between Mongolia and Poland.
Mongolia mostly imports canned vegetables, fruits, pork and construction materials from Poland, and the bilateral trade turnover has increased to USD 100 million over the past years.
