ELECTRONIC ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES OF ORIGIN WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE MONGOLIA–JAPAN ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT (EPA)
Electronic Issuance of Certificates of Origin within the Framework of the Mongolia–Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA)
On April 25, 2025, an online preparatory meeting was held in advance of the third session of the Joint Cooperation Subcommittee under the Mongolia–Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA).

The meeting was opened by Mr. Chandmani Purevdorj, Director General of the Economic Cooperation and Integrated Trade Policy Department at the Ministry of Economy and Development of Mongolia; Mr. Yoshifumi Fukunaga, Director of the Northeast Asia Division, Trade Policy Bureau, at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan; and Mr. A. Hamaguchi, Deputy Director of the Asia-Pacific Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, responsible for economic affairs related to China and Mongolia.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged information on the progress of the electronic issuance of Certificates of Origin and discussed opportunities for further cooperation to enhance the effectiveness of the Mongolia–Japan EPA.
