    A Certificate of origin is a security, which officially attests that the product is partially or entirely produced in Mongolia. According to Article 6.2 of Mongolian Law on Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the framework of its authority to certify the origin of export products, the MNCCI grants the certificate of origin. The issuance of certificate of origin is regulated by the “Regulation on determining the origin of export products derived from Mongolia and on issuing the certificate of origin”.

    Types of certificate of origin:

    CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN FORM A, FORM B

    According to the Generalized System of Preferences, Mongolia enjoys trade and tariff preferential rate from the developed 37 countries such as Australia, Belarus, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, Norway, United States, Turkey, Liechtenstein and the European Union countries on export goods. These concessions are given on the basis of FORM A. If you are to export products to the countries other than above, you should acquire the certificate of origin FORM B.

    Entrepreneurs are required to submit the following documents in order to obtain the Certificate of origin FORM A & FORM B:

    1. Copy of foreign trade contract /buying, selling/
    2. Application Form B
    3. Invoice /English sample with Mongolian explanation/
    4. Packing list /Invoice & Packing list in Russian/, /Invoice & Packing list in English/
    5. Copy of Incorporation Certificate, for individuals - copy of identity card
    6. Copy of product license
    7. Copy of Quality conformity and hygiene certificates

    CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN FORM E

    According to Economic partnership agreement between Mongolia & Japan, which became effective since June 7, 2016, MNCCI started to grant Certificate of origin FORM E. The issuance of this certificate is regulated by the third article of this agreement – Rules of origin, “Regulation on determining the origin of export products derived from Mongolia and on issuing the certificate of origin”.

    To obtain Certificate of origin FORM E the entrepreneurs are required to submit the following documents:

    1. Copy of foreign trade contract / buying, selling /
    2. Application Form B
    3. Invoice /English sample with Mongolian explanation/
    4. Packing list /Invoice & Packing list in Russian/, /Invoice & Packing list in English/
    5. A document that determines the ingredients and composition of the product; if the raw material was imported – copy of customs declaration.
    6. Copy of Incorporation Certificate, for individuals - copy of identity card
    7. In particular cases in order to obtain certain certificate of origin, an additional examination and other documents are subject to be submitted.

    CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN FORM-D

    The issuance of Certificate of origin FORM D is regulated by the “Regulation on issuance of FORM D certificate of origin by determining the products not originated from Mongolia”.

    To obtain Certificate of origin FORM D, the entrepreneurs are required to submit the following documents:

    1. Copy of the contract
    2. A document to verify the country of origin
    3. Application Form B
    4. Invoice, Packing list  /English sample with Mongolian explanation/, /Invoice & Packing list in Russian/, /Invoice & Packing list in English/
    5. Copy of Incorporation Certificate, for individuals - copy of identity card
