On occasion of the World Quality Day celebrated on November 9, a forum on national forum took place last week.
Co-organized for 3rd year by the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce (MNCCI) and Industry and the National Standardization and Measurement Agency (NSMA), the forum brought together U.Enkhtuvshin MP, Deputy Prime Minister, B.Bilguun, Deputy Head of the MNCCI, B.Lhagvajav and M.Oyunchimeg, Heads of the MNCCI Board of Directors.
At the forum, representatives of state organizations, the private sector, international organizations and partners exchanged experiences on a realization of the quality management system in environment, labor safety and food security. They also delivered reports entitled “Methods for Trade Facilitation”, “Maintenance and Improvement of Quality Management System” and “Role of National Accreditation Organizations in Socio-Economic Development”.
On the sideline of the forum, prizes were granted to some people. The title of Foremost Worker of Standardization and Measurement was awarded to M.Oyunchimeg, CEO of the MNCCI, D.Dashdulam, a specialist of the NSMA’s Division on Production Accreditation, B.Enkhtur, a quality manager of the Governmental Service Authority, and L.Namkhaitseren, Chief Inspector of the Central Laboratory of Customs Office. The NSMA’s Honorary Certificate went to B.Battsengel, a specialist at the MNCCI, Kh.Ariunaa, a quality management of the Chinggis Khaan International Airport, and B.Battseteg, a quality manager at the Mongolian Airlines (MIAT).
The Supreme Prize of Quality was awarded in several nominations of the top service, productions and organization. As of today, some 100 entities have introduced the ISO 9001 standard on the quality management system.
