Mongolia and Italy marks the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations. On this occasion, Vice Minister Adolfo Urso, Italian Economic Development Ministry paid an official visit to Mongolia from 10th to 13th of April 2010. More than 40 businessmen have been accompanied to participate in the Mongolian Italian Economic Forum on April 12 2010.

The Italian Embassy in Beijing, Chamber of Commerce in Milan, Italian – Mongolian Business Council, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and Foreign Investment Authority and Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry are participating in the forum. Also company delegates, dealing with banking & finance, insurance, textile, energy, leather and meat processing equipment, construction and construction facilities, environment, legal affairs, design and sustainable development businesses, were attended the forum and interested in the Mongolian counterparts. The Mongolian Italian Economic Forum gave a great significance for promoting Mongolia’s economic and investment environment and building direct contact between entrepreneurs of the two countries.
